Wasaga Beach Getaways and New Attractions for summer of 2008

Wasaga Beach will be attracting vacationers as usual to its beachfront this summer with its new attractions, new tourism website, and help from the Ontario Ministry of Tourism spreading the message that Wasaga Beach is open for business.

Wasaga Beach Getaways

Combined with the new attractions 400ELEVEN members Alton Lodges and Kingsbridge Inn/Motel in Wasaga Beach have accommodation for the spring and summer months.

New Area Attractions

A 540-square-metre geodome with a stage and bleachers for 1,000 people.

  • Three weekly performances by Toronto-based Zero Gravity Circus.
  • An interactive water play area.
  • Wasaga Beach is one of Canada's few "Blue Flag" beaches, an
    Internationally renowned eco-label given to beaches that meet stringent quality standards.
    Wasaga Beach is also the world's longest freshwater beach.
