Feast of Fields – September 7th, Annual Event Offers Intimate View of Organics The 19th Annual Feast of Fields Event transports people out of the grocery store and into the fields where organic food is actually produced to create a unique, gourmet experience. On Sunday, September 7, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Everdale Organic Farm and Environmental Learning Centre near Hillsburgh, Ontario will open their farm gates to hundreds of guests who can partake in an authentic organic feast prepared by acclaimed local chefs, vintners and brewers in a lush, pastoral setting. At 3:00 p.m., a special key note address will be given by renowned Chef Michael Stadtlander. Tickets for the event are $100 and now available by calling 905-859-3609 or by visiting www.feastoffields.org. In keeping with the theme of environmental responsibility, guests who carpool with at least four people to the event will receive a $25/car voucher. Saturday September 13 Bobcaygeon Bobcaygeon & Area Chamber of Commerce & Kawartha Settlers’ Village are proud to present this exciting festival in Bobcaygeon & the City of Kawartha Lakes.
