The Outdoor Education Programs at Haliburton Forest are designed to fully engage participants in the Outdoor Experience.
Our teaching philosophy is simple: people learn best by doing. In addition, taking the time to reflect on the experience is a very important component of the learning process. Our programs are developed under 3 broad categories:
1) Adventure Based Leader-ship Programs,
2) Outdoor Skills and Pursuits and
3) Environmental
Education. Each of these categories can be overlapped to suit your needs.
If you are interested in bringing your school, private or corporate group
to participate in one of our programs, please do not hesitate to contact
us for more details
