of Natural Resources (MNR) are once again, at press time, in the process
of stocking lakes in Haliburton County with game fish.
This partnership that has been in place for the last 10 years is largely
responsible for the fine quality of fishing enjoyed in the Highlands.
Stocked lakes divert angling pressure from lakes with natural fish reproduction
and provide anglers with additional exciting fishing opportunities.
