H: Happy north of Toronto

Haliburton to Huronia to Hailebury there are many resort destinations to make Ontario Travellers heading north very happy on their vacations.
Perhaps the historic destination with the earliest Ontario History is Huronia, with the Martyrs' Shrine and Saint Marie Among the Hurons and the Ouendat Indian village at the Huronia Museum. Hailebury is located in the new region of Temiskaming shores, and boasts some of the best fishing in North America. You may want to investigate "why a Toronto streetcar is a major attraction in Hailebury?". Haliburton is both a county and a charming village with some of the best year round recreation close to Algonquin Provincial Park.
